People think that getting out the Marines is easy. It seemed fun, and then life took over. I had unanswered questions, and when I tried to reach the VA or anyone else who might know something, I just got transferred to other people all the time.
Graves and I met in a Starbucks and within half an hour of talking to him, I had all the answers to the questions I’d been wondering about, and references to where to go to for future help. He even gave me a copy of his book and I want people to know that this is something I wish I had before getting out. I’m recommending it to all my friends still in.
